Aqua-tnet III application successful
As you know, earlier this year a proposal for the continuation of our network was submitted. The Aqua-tnet secretariat is very pleased to announce that the application was successful. This new exciting phase will be an excellent opportunity to build upon the previous work and continue this long running network (1996-2011). The new programme (20011-14) will allow us to help the sectors we cover to further contribute to the creation of a European Higher Education Area. The new phase of the network will be titled “Aqua-tnet - Promoting innovation and a European dimension through Lifelong learning in the field of Aquaculture, Fisheries and Aquatic Resources Management – Thematic Network”.
Coordinator John Bostock from the University of Stirling and the secretariat AquaTT would like to thank everybody for your hard work and input into the proposal which was much appreciated. The immediate priority is for all partners to complete a “Letter of Intent” so that the contract can be finalised. The lead representative from each organisation should already have received a message about this.
